"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

What is Missions at OPC|M?

Missions at OPC|Milford is joining God as His witnesses in the building of His Church among all peoples throughout the world. Our vision is to have a long-term impact around the world through resourcing the Church to meet the physical and spiritual needs of communities by sending and empowering our people, partnering with organizations, and utilizing the gifts of our people to build God's Kingdom. We want to reach the unreached with the good news of Jesus, to serve the un-resourced by giving and sharing our own resources, protect the unprotected in caring for the needy, and engage the unengaged by meeting people where they are at, whether in our own community or on the far side of the world.

How do we do Missions!

There are a variety of ways that we do Missions, from participating in local community outreach to partnering with local and international agencies. Our primary focus, though, is in Zambia to care for orphans and train leaders there. We send service teams annually to Africa even while we serve here with local opportunities. Through it all, we are committed to sharing the good news and doing good deeds to bring the light and life of Jesus to the world.
